I caught D like this one Saturday morning. I took a picture and told him to get down. When he went to get down, the bike rolled out from under him, and he caught himself with his forehead. On the hard tile. It was bad. At first, I thought he was OK. He had a decent sized knot on his head, and was acting fine. After "rest time," I noticed his speech was slurring. So, off to the ER we went. Given his history, and the nature of the current "issue," we got right in. One x-ray, one CT scan, and 4 hours later, they said his head was fine and his finger was only jammed, but he bit the tip of his tongue off and had several other places on his tongue that he bit. No wonder his speech was slurred! And it stayed that way for about a week. Poor baby. Of course it was all my fault...I'm the one who told him to get down. Sheesh.

Grandpa got a new "stuffed animal."
They love it.
Somehow, this was the ONLY picture I got with all 4 babies in it. You would think that with all of them in that tiny "pool" there would have been more. You would be wrong.
