Take Me Out To The Ball Game...

We...yes all 3 of us...spent last week sick. Allergies, sinus infections, ear infections, and antibiotics for all. Add teething to poor Davis' list, and he's been miserable. Other than the teeth, he's much better. Hopefully, within the next few days, I can say the same for us.

Friday, we went to the GI (stomach) doctor. It did not go well. Davis was good, and talked to the Dr. and played with him. BUT...he still weighs the same as he did 3 months ago. (Just a side note...when he is shirtless, you can see his ribs in his back/sides.) Ugh. He said he was "not even a little bit pleased." So he increased the dose amount of the appetite stimulant, and said to keep him on formula (even after his birthday) and add extra powder to make it 30 calories per ounce, or put him on pediasure. We've been doing a combination. He likes the pediasure...for now. He still isn't taking much, but he's getting there. We go back to the GI in June. He wants him significantly bigger by then. So do we. I don't like that his ribs...all of them..."stick out."

Saturday, we went to the Ranger game...opening NIGHT. Davis was SO good! The lasted until the last batter of the 8th inning. It was such a long game, that meant he lasted until almost 10:30! I couldn't believe it. He talked to, played with, and charmed our entire section. Such a ham! When he finally crashed, he CRASHED. He didn't wake up again until Sunday morning. He slept through the "celebration" at the end of the game, the walk back to the truck, and all the way home. Once home, he slept through a diaper change, taking his medicine, and having his teeth brushed! See? I told you...CRASHED.

This week is rather low key. He has physical therapy tomorrow, and the dietitian comes Friday. I'm glad. I have questions for her. Please continue praying for our sweet baby! Especially for his brain/fluid and his eating/drinking!

Sick baby. He didn't play for 3 days! This day, he thought he wanted to, but changed his mind. He just held that bat for a long time.

Friday...almost back to normal.

My boys. I don't know why I like this picture so much.

Look what Davis thinks the "handles" should be. :) Every time.

Always so happy!

He could NOT figure the grass out. He kept trying to "pick" it,  but couldn't because it's fake. Haha.

Any time everyone clapped, so did he.

Practicing.

YES! He's doing exactly what it looks like he's doing! And the lovely look on my face is from telling Brandon to "hurry! Take the picture! He's falling." :)

Again, so happy!

Still trying to recover from the game the night before.

His mouth was FULL of pizza. So full, that he could not chew. He had to spit some out just to chew. :) (Another side note: You can really see the "anomoly" in his eye in this picture.)
