Halloween

Halloween was so fun this year!! We made Halloween a week-long event this year. First, we carved pumpkins...
(This one accidentally made it into this post. Ooops. But, look at my boy! He was FEELIN' the music. ;) It was awesome!)

Sister was not all that impressed with the "stinky po-kin" guts.

Then we painted pumpkins...

Waiting for dinner to be served. Pumpkin carving/painting is hard work when you no longer nap in the afternoons.

Then we made and decorated cupcakes...

The day before...

There are no pictures of them with the pumpkins we carved because we dropped the ball. It rained for several days after we carved them, and they rotted within 3 days. I mean, rotten beyond recognition. Oh well. Mickey and Minnie were way better.

The BIG day...

We took advantage of the fact that Davis will get excited about almost anything we are excited about. We found a Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader costume for Anna, so we made D a football player. This is likely my last year to be able to coordinate their costumes so we ran with it! :)

This was Anna's first time trick-or-treating. We started next door...she had no problem running up to their door!

We came home and watched Charlie Brown's Great Pumpkin while we ate our candy and handed out candy to other kids.

It was a great night!!!
