Day 91: Always hoping for a sticker.
Day 92: She said "I'm SO MAD at these socks and shoes! My hands are too little today!" Haha! Big brother felt sorry for her, and helped her put them on this morning. (And yes, she has a piece of breakfast stuck to her leg.)
Day 93: We spent Christmas Eve at the doctor's office. Why not do the same for Good Friday?! Sheesh...just a sinus infection for the boy this time.
Day 94: She picked out her own clothes today. She was so PROUD!
Day 95: Today, and every day, we celebrate our Risen Savior! Perhaps someday I will also be able to celebrate a family picture where everyone looks and smiles.
Day 96: Dinner wasn't quite ready yet, but they were. Helmet, prayer, and all!
Day 97: "Bye, Nana! See you next week!"
Day 98: What. A. Day. We put Anna to bed before 7:30 tonight, and it looks like these two won't be far behind.
Day 99: I just happened to catch this sweet moment between MY baby and HER baby on the way to school this morning. Such a good mommy!
Day 100: Happy to be wearing our blue for National Child Abuse Prevention month. And because it's Friday.
Day 101: Watching her big brother bat, and her Daddy coach. She's their biggest fan!
Day 102: A quick day trip to Clyde for my cousin's baby shower meant "a fun day with Grandpa getting as dirty as possible" for my kids. Mission accomplished.
(Side note: The shower was for my cousin Jessika. I was pregnant (almost to the second trimester) with Anna at her wedding shower and didn't tell anyone. It was her day, but a fun memory for me because a few people at the shower asked me when we were going to have another baby.)
Day 103: He's really getting good. It's so fun to watch something we never thought we'd get to see!
Day 104: He's FIVE!! My big boy is FIVE! Five years of appointments, surgeries, therapies, and tears. BUT...five years of love, laughter, milestones, and victories! He's an amazing little boy, and it's a privilege to get to be him mom! Happy birthday, sweet boy!!
Day 105: This is HUGE people. Life changing! They can now both buckle AND unbuckle themselves in the car! Hallelujah!!
Day 106: Today, I registered my big boy for kindergarten.
Fun fact: Brandon graduated from high school in 1998; I graduated in 2000. Davis will be the class of 2028, and Anna will be the class of 2030. How fun is that?!
Day 107: Cousins!
Day 108: A "Big Hero 6" party to celebrate our big 5 year old.
Day 109: All good parties continue the next day.
Day 110: New "big kid car seats" means everyone gets a new "rocket ship!"
Day 111: My Popper...one of the greatest men I've ever known...is spending another birthday at the feet of Jesus today. He loved "trash," and my Ninny made some last week. It made a great after school snack. Happy Birthday, Pop!
Day 112: That tiny box? It has her brother in it. And she's defending it with his bow.
Day 113: It already looks like we're going to have more peaches than we know what to do with again this year!
Day 114: I asked "Anna, what happened to your pants?!" She answered "DON'T TELL ABOUT THAT!" I still don't know!
Day 115: The highlight of his evening? Getting to "sink" his teacher in the dunk tank.
Day 116: A stomach virus took this one DOWN Friday night. Thankful that she was back to normal this afternoon.
Day 117: "Antiques Roadshow" with my favorite guy after a looooong Monday.
Day 118: Playing "school," and reading their own bedtime stories. Score for me...even if they are reading a book neither has touched since they were babies.
Day 119: This train. Every morning we get stuck waiting on this train. It doesn't matter what time we leave. The train is always there.
Day 120: We sent our boys to baseball practice, and went to support Curtis Elementary at Chick-fil-a! I love my school!
