His favorite party guest. They are still playing with this balloon. Anna bit a hole in his hand, so the only thing left is one foot and his head. Davis was mad, claiming that he wanted to be the one to break him.
My cupcakes were a Pintrest success! Yay! (To be fair, it's really hard to mess these up...I feel quite certain monkey's could make these successfully!)
They were ready to field Cannon's ball.
My Ninny. (Please keep praying for her.)
They both love the sit-n-spin. This one can't keep herself on it. She gets it moving, then slides right off...every time.
We got D his first REAL guitar. He LOVES it. I have to admit...Brandon gets the credit here. I couldn't think of anything to get him. He has always loved music and B's guitar, so we got him his own. We have always discussed things he could always be able to do, no matter what the future holds for his little legs. You don't have to be able to walk to make beautiful music!
Nana and Grandpa got him his first real bike! (We've been working for MONTHS in physical therapy on riding a bike. He's getting there, but doesn't have the muscle strength to pull back on the pedals. Now we can practice at home too.)
My sweet, big boy.
These two. Sheesh. Everyone else was outside playing. They were playing the guitar built for a toddler. :)
She's going to be the best babysitter! We have the greatest neighbors!!
Note my two going up the slide. She follows everywhere he goes. (And he stops to wait for her to catch up.)
Grandpa built therapy equipment for D, but he refuses to call it that. He built them so there is a sandbox under those stairs. He says he built him a sandbox, if we want to make him exercise on the roof, that's our deal. Haha. Thank you, Grandpa!
He LOVES them!
I do NOT care for how big he looks in the next few pictures. *sigh*
BUT...Thank you, Lord, for our precious MIRACLE! Take THAT Spina bifida!
April 14, 2013, 9:35am. His "birth minute" picture. I had to sneak this one from the door of his Sunday School class.
My sweet boy. He is 28lbs, 36inches of BOY. He never stops moving. He is smart, funny, stubborn, loving, passionate, loud, inquisitive, and mine. He loves outside, running, climbing, cars, superhero's, and has a rock-steady hand. He has excellent problem solving skills and always wants to do things by himself. He is a challenge to parent, but we know God will do GREAT things in him and through him someday!! We are so thankful God chose us to be his parents!! He is the greatest boy ever!!
