Happy 2nd Birthday, Anna!

Waaaay back on December 29th, my baby turned two. TWO. She is so smart and sweet and sassy. She talks much better than would be expected of a child her age, and understands even more than that. When I took her for her 2 year check up, she was 34 inches tall (65th percentile) and 25.8 lbs (39th percentile). The pediatrician has always said she is "very pleased" with Anna. She got one shot, and cried for just a second. I picked her up and when we saw the nurse in the hall on the way out Anna said "you hurt Anna! I got sucker. Bye!" I've said it before, but she is the perfect bookend to our little family...we are BLESSED!

Anna had no opinion as to what her party would be about, so Davis took over. He has always called her "owl" because he thinks that's what Brandon is saying when he calls her AL (Anna Leigh). I was not surprised when Davis said he wanted her to have an Owl party. We had the party the day before her actual birthday. She very much enjoyed celebrating for two days. :)

This is how she tells us she's two...holding up "4" with both hands. I don't get it. When she is not referencing her age, she holds up two fingers on one hand for "2."
